Project Objective
  • Keep Unawatuna Beach Clean from Garbage
  • Developing an awereness among the community specialy in the business sectore for proper disporsal of garbage.
  • Up keep and running the regular daily garbage cleaning program
  • Building the community awereness for healthy and clean envioronment.
  • Formation of UNAWATUNA ECO FUND(UEF)

Unawatuna community mainly, Unawatuna central, Yaddheimulla, Unawatuna west GS divisions and all the business operators in UNAWATUNA BEACH.

Business community in the area. (Unawatuna ECO Fund has been initialized with the contributions by all the business operators in the area for up keeping of the project, 5 people upto date employe for the purpose for cleaning the beach and the internal roads of the Village). After Tsunami ECO Fund had been upgraded to Unawatuna Relief Fund (URF) for the purposes serving in a wider area of the village reawakaning processes)
