Name UNDP-Transition Program Nature of assistance Help to clear the debris from the area on the basis of cash for work Name Secours Populaire Francais Solidarite mondiale Nature of assistance Support with by providing 12-fishing boats for the community DutchConnect funding (dutchconnect.org) DutchConnect funded with Child and Youth Resource Center Development project for Unawatuna, by contributing SLR 9,00,000.00 to purchase the block of land to setup the facility. Further DutchConnect is supporting with providing computers for the existing IT programs in the area, for the youths. DutchConnect is a supporting organization for UTDS developing activities in the context of village regeneration by donations and support deriving from Netherlands. Peace Haven Community School (UK) and Emily Burns funding This funding will utilize to develop the infrastructures of the existing Child and Youth activities by UTDS, CYEP body. This fund utilizing will facilitate the requirements arise for the purchasing of musical instruments, art equipments, and dancing costumes for the feature Unawatuna Cultural Circle. This will be the feature gateway for performing arts by the children and youth in the area. Some of the funds will allocate for the developments in the Information Technology resource facility in the proposed Child and Youth Resource Center Project (CYRCP). Presently Emily Burns is supporting with some on-going programs in the area and developing innovative programs for the children in conjunction with uplifting the attitudes among them for future programs. Castle Bay Community School (UK) funding UTDS received SP 2600 from the Castle bay Community School in the UK and some of the money already allocated for Post Card Project to print the post cards. Fun For Life Contribution Headed by Emily Burns from UK whose already supported UTDS, by coordinating the donation of Peace Haven Community School in the UK, contribute some Art equipments and Drums for the dancing programs. She is also supporting with the activities in the art and dancing programs for the children, as well as conducting of programs by Fun for Life. Her support so far helps UTDS to expand its programs in a wider area of Unawatuna. COOPI Funding for the renovation of UTDS Resource Center COOPI, Italian NGO involved in various relief acctivities in south helped UTDS to support with its Resource Center Renovation by contributing SLR 200,000/-. Stiching ICT contribution for IT training facility for the children and youth in the area. Stiching ICT, a Nertherland base organization for IT and educational development in Sri Lanka through their M4C Agency contribute 6 Apple Mac computers for the IT resource center at Unawatuna Pellagoda.
